Sonja completed her studies at Auckland University in law, political studies and history.
She began her legal career in Taupo in general practice where she gained broad litigation experience in family, employment and civil matters. She later moved to specialising in family law.
Sonja has experience in all aspects of family law. While she aims for a negotiated resolution of disputes, she is an experienced litigator able to help, with sensitivity, those who are facing family court proceedings.
Outside of the office, Sonja has a passion for music and fitness. She is a registered music teacher of accordion and theory. Methods of keeping fit for her include bodyjam classes and pilates.
