Enduring Powers
of Attorney
Many of us have encountered a situation where a friend or relative has had an accident or illness and is unable to manage his or her affairs. If an Enduring Power of Attorney is not in place it is a time consuming and costly exercise to get the necessary court order empowering someone to manage the affairs of the person.
You can grant another person power to manage your affairs, either generally or subject to conditions. There is one form for personal care and welfare (only operable in the event of incapacity) and another for property (operable at any time, subject to the terms of the document).
The documentation is not complex. Call us for assistance.
